IAVRT Memberships
The International Association of Virtual Reality Technologies (IAVRT) is an international organization and thus open to members worldwide.
Membership is open to any individual or organization in any industry supporting directly or indirectly the research and/or development of Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Once you have become a member of the Association, you are invited to get involved in various volunteer services such as speaking at the annual conference, conducting a workshop, or serving as an Ambassador for the Association at your workplace etc.
Annual individual membership dues are as follows:
- US$295 for Industry Membership
- US$245 for Government or Non-profit Organization Membership
- US$195 for Academic Membership
Membership benefits include:
- Eligibility to apply for IAVRT grant funding.
- Eligibility to apply for IAVRT venture capital funding.
- Eligibility to apply for conference travel subsidies.
- Eligibility to secure one of 1000 development neurosites for Neuronet R&D
- Significant discounts on the registration fees for the International Congress of Virtual Reality Technologies.
- Discount registration fees for various seminars.
- Discount on books, journals and publications published by the Association and our partners.
- Free subscription to the IAVRT Newsletter.
- Discount airfare and hotel room rates for the IAVRT congress.
- Networking opportunities at various meetings of the Association.
- Networking and collaboration opportunities in the member forums of the IAVRT website.
- Opportunity to serve as a committee member and in various management/governance positions of the Association.

Annual Corporate membership fees are as follows:
- US$995 for small companies (up to $5 million in revenue). Includes up to four individual designated memberships.
- US$1495 for medium size companies (up to $20 million in revenue). Includes up to six individual designated memberships.
- US$2,995 for large corporations (over $20 million in revenue). Includes up to 12 individual designated memberships.
Each additional individual membership affiliated with a corporate membership is $250 per year. Each designated member of a Corporate Membership can sign up at the Corporate Membership web site.
Full-time students may become members provided that they include a copy of a valid, current student ID with their application form.

You can also print out a Membership Form, and mail it with your payment to the address on the form. Payments may be made in one of three forms:
- A check drawn on a U.S. or Canadian bank,
- Wire transfer
- Visa, Master Card, or American Express.
